CAA Club Group (CCG) is looking for a Learning and Development Client Manager to join a dynamic team.  This team processes payroll in house for employees across Canada.  In this role you will lead the Payroll team in the day to day and annual functions, as well as lead any new projects.

Position Details


  • Oversee a team of 2-6 Learning Professionals including any contract or external Trainers
  • Provide leadership and collaborative direction, 
  • Mentor and coach team members, including:
  • Provide ongoing guidance and support on all aspects of their role, which includes facilitation techniques, design opportunities, applicable administration, goal development (SMART) and progress, action plans and timelines
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to team members to encourage their development and the achievement of their goals and objectives 
  • Conduct regular team meetings to share relevant information, best practices and team updates
  • Conduct regular one on one meetings to provide the opportunity for open communication regarding performance, personal growth, deliverables and results 
  • Perform regular evaluations to assess the performance of team members, and develop and enhance their skill sets
  • Train new employees and upgrade the skills and knowledge of existing team members to meet and exceed the expectation of the role, including:
  • Facilitate or provide the opportunity for training to ensure team members develop the necessary skills 
  • Assist team members to identify and obtain the tools and resources required   
  • Ensure delivery of training facilitation is at optimum level, including:
  • Observe facilitation
  • Provide constructive feedback
  • Collaboratively develop action plan for areas of improvement
  • Perform needs analysis to identify gaps, opportunities and trends 
  • Develop the design plan to provide the framework for the holistic solution 
  • Design and develop solution content 
  • Design and develop tools to gather metrics
  • Facilitate leadership and/or large-scale training sessions that engage participants and help them explore their learning through a variety of adult learning principles
  • Facilitate, co-facilitate or assist with leadership meetings and strategic planning sessions to draw out discussion, thought and debate in a structured manner with the end result of consensus and direction, as requested by business lines
  • Conduct facilitator audits to maintain a consistent standard of delivery excellence of each and every course offered
  • Facilitate train-the trainer sessions to prepare other Trainers to deliver with the same consistent standards of delivery excellence for specific courses 
  • Facilitate technical or corporate training sessions, as required


  • College or University degree in Adult Education or equivalent experience.
  • Adult Learning Certification or CSTD Certification preferred.
  • 5 years’ experience relationship building and/or leadership
  • Demonstrated relationship building skills
  • Demonstrated leadership ability 
  • Bi-lingual (French and English)
