Position Details

  • Create highly optimized and advanced SQL queries to answer business and Actuarial questions from the Enterprise Datawarehouse and reporting databases
    •    Develop SQL database reporting objects such as Views, Stored procedures etc. to help in BI and reporting development
    •    Create efficient ETL and data movement pipelines using SSIS to move data from different data sources into EDW as well as out of EDW
    •    Analyze legacy reporting database objects and develop methods to create replacement versions 
    •    Aid in the development of the Semantic/Reporting Layer
    •    Provide assistance and advice on the development and design of the data warehouse to ensure interoperability with BI solutions
    •    Maintain legacy data warehouses using SSIS, SSAS and SSRS
    •    Be a vital member of the EDW team and coach other teams in IT to enforce standards in all development initiatives involving data modeling, data quality, data dictionary consistency for all data elements and meta data management
    •    Build and manage relationships with project team members, third party vendors/service partners, release teams and client areas as appropriate
    •    Coordinate with analysts and specialists and manage efficient working of work.
    •    Manage various projects and facilitate reuse of same architecture.
    •    Monitor system details within the data warehouse, including stored procedures and execution time, and implement efficiency improvements.
    •    Analyze existing operations and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the EDW/RL architecture.
    •    Conduct research and remain current with the latest data technologies and solutions in support of future data management procurement efforts.
    •    Review data quality, addressing any issues through the creation of new processes or adjustment of the data integration architecture.
    •    Help in the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of EDW/RL, including data architecture, data integration, and high availability, security, and data privacy.

 

Requirements: 

  • Technical Expertise
    1.    ETL Experience  -  4+ Year 
    2.    MS SSIS Experience  - 4 Year
    3.    EDW ETL Experience  - At least 3+ EDW Project implementation end to end using MS SSIS ETL.
    4.    Communication : - Good  Communication.
    5.    Domain Experience  : - Good to have P&C domain knowledge or Experience .
    6.    SQL – Strong in PL/SQL
