Position Details

What You Will Do

  • Oversee the execution of all marketing campaigns and plans for our Government & Community Relations (GCR) area
  • Collaborate with GCR to understand key drivers and influencers that impact business objectives and marketing requirements
  • Lead campaign planning meetings with internal and external program stakeholders to develop integrated marketing plans that deliver on objectives, timelines, and budgets 
  • Leverage Member database analytics, segmentation, and market research to make strategic marketing recommendations and develop plans to optimize activities and budgets
  • Develop creative briefs and collaborate with the Creative Services team to ensure all communications meet the briefing requirements, are of a high quality and support the CAA brand conviction
  • Manage and execute GCR media plans in collaboration with the Media Specialist
  • Brief media agency, evaluate media recommendations and present plans for approval  
  • Work within Content Management System (Workfront) to develop, implement, and manage the end-to-end campaign process
  • Integrate GCR annual plans into corporate marketing annual customer calendar
  • Manage and track annual GCR marketing budget (production and media) for individual campaigns and assist with actively managing cost efficiencies and optimizing campaign ROI
  • Initiate and manage on-going campaign tracking for all marketing initiatives and provide regular results and update communications to internal stakeholders

Who You Are

  • University degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field 
  • 2-4 years of relevant marketing experience
  • Demonstrated experience in marketing campaign project management and execution 
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal ability
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, practices, and standards
  • Demonstrated aptitude with numbers and comfortable working with budgets and analytics
  • Understanding and/or experience in integrating online and offline initiatives, particularly within the social media realm
  • Good understanding of media landscape and innovative GTM strategies
  • Analytical thinker with orientation to detail and quality
  • Demonstrated experience in managing marketing initiatives based on public relations initiatives and community event programs an asset
  • Experience in marketing within an advocacy / not-for-profit environment an asset
  • Certificate or other specialized formal training in advertising and digital media are assets
