Position Details

What you will do:

  • Strong background in functional testing with the ability to design and develop test strategy and test cases.
  • Ability to review technical requirements with data warehouse and business intelligence terminology to produce test strategies, test scenarios, and test cases for the data warehouse team.
  • Creates the Test Plan for the software release, defining resources, and test suites required for each test cycle, dependencies, risks, and the overall strategy for testing complex systems and applications.
  • Performs all aspects of verification, including functional, structural, regression and system testing.
  • Experience participating in all aspects of a full-lifecycle development methodology, and related quality concepts and processes.
  • Ability to lead a distributed testing effort.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment with an iterative approach to development 

 

Who you are:

  • 3 - 5 years’ experience EDW testing.
  • Must be located in SCO; role is hybrid
  • Good to have P&C domain knowledge or Experience
  • Proficient in MS SQL Server and database systems
  • Track record of completing assignments on time with a high degree of quality.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to set priorities and multi-task in a fast paced environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of testing process, testing methodology analysis and defect reporting tools.
  • Ability to work independently and productively under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills and decision making ability.
