About Us

In this role as the Manager, Government & Community Relations you will help CAA Club Group of companies in achieving its marketing goals and objectives in developing, designing and implementing visual design solutions for both print and digital formats.  This would encompass design input initially followed by  design assistance throughout development and design approval prior to completion of materials produced for all media – print, web, display, point-of-purchase, stationary, etc.

Position Details

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
•  Team Management, Development & Execution.
• Strategy development and execution.
• Stakeholder Management.
• Spokesperson/Communications/Public Representation.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in political science, Communications or a related field is mandatory.
• A Master’s degree in these fields would be preferred.
• Post-secondary Certification from Government Relations/PR/Corporate Communications program, and/or membership in related associations an asset. 
• Vulnerable services sector check to be completed upon hire and each year thereafter while employed in the Government & Community Relations Department.
• Experience in areas including: 
          •  Public policy/Public affairs
          •  Public relations/corporate communications
          •  Not-for-profit
          •  Social media and digital communications
          •  Stakeholder relations
          •  Grassroots mobilization
          •  Project and event management
• Experience in Critical writing.
• Experience in research and data analysis.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent presentation skills, and experience in working with media (all formats).
