Who we are

We are looking for an Accident Benefit Adjuster to join our team!

Position Details

What You Will Do

  • Investigation, evaluation, negotiation and settlement and administration of all accident benefit claims
  • Handle MIG and non-MIG files up to the point of CAT
  • Understands the LAT process and works with legal counsel to address files going into Dispute


What You Have

  • Minimum of 2-3 years AB claims handling experience
  • Well-honed negotiation skills
  • Thorough knowledge of the legislation that governs these benefits (SABS)
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and oral
  • Strong organizational and time management skills coupled with strong decision-making skills
  • Post- secondary education in a related field, and/or working towards CIP designation would be preferred
