Position Details

What you will do:

  • Providing actuarial pricing or reserving supports for our Insurance products lines.
  • Analyze data, conduct traditional and predictive analysis
  • Make pricing recommendations for new and existing products.
  • Interact with regulatory body for auto rate changes
  • Extract and query databases in preparation for data as well as running SAS and other appropriate modeling software to find optimal statistical models.
  • Update existing analysis and reports in order to meet business objectives. 
  • Assist in the valuation and reporting of policy liabilities
  • Assist in IFRS 17 implementation

What you have:

  • A University Degree in Statistics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics or Computer Science
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in P&C insurance actuarial services
  • Good asset with related statistical analysis, modeling and reserving experience
  • Must have successfully completed a minimum of 4 Actuarial exams
  • Proficiency in programming, and experiences in MS Excel, SAS, VBA
