Our AARS team is currently seeking to add a new member to our team in the role of Approved Auto Repair Services Technical Advisor.

Position Details

Some of the responsibilities of the role include:

- Managing the relationship with the AARS network (Ontario & Manitoba).  Including onsite visits and regular check in's by telephone and email.
- Arbitrate Member claims against AARS network
- Expand AARS network footprint
- Provide technical expertise to Members who call into the Auto Advice line including replying to emails
- Create written articles on latest automotive trends including EV market both for CAA Magazine and blog
- Provide technical expertise to media representing CAA
- Provide written technical expertise for CAA Magazine "Shop Talk" column
- Provide technical expertise to the Damage Resolution Team

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Candidate must be a license technician with very strong written and verbal communications.  Ideal candidate must have current working knowledge of electric vehicles (EV) and autonomous vehicle (AV) and be able to effectively speak to their benefits and differences between manufacture approaches (i.e. cylindrical cells vs pouch cells).
