Position Details

What You Will Do:
•    Analyze and process Insurance premium payments, disbursements, and adjusting entries
•    Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts
•    Reconcile financial transactions interfaced from various application systems
•    Validate and reconcile commission payments and settlements
•    Analyze and clear bank discrepancies
•    Monitor Aged Receivables and initiate collection activities
•    Liaise with cross functional teams to investigate and resolve billing issues 
•    Participate in defining and documenting business requirements for system enhancements
•    Create and define test cases and review user stories
•    Perform user acceptance testing to validate deliverables
•    Provide accounting process and systems knowledge to end users and ensure new processes and procedures are fully documented 
•    Participate in project work and other duties as assigned

Who You Are:

•    Degree/Diploma in Accounting or Business
•    Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience 
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office - Intermediate to Advanced level
•    Strong learning ability, natural curiosity, and team oriented
•    Strong knowledge of testing disciplines and methodologies
•    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
•    Hands-on, detail orientated, excellent problem solving and analytical thinking 
•    Experience with Guidewire and SAP is a great asset
•    Experience within the Insurance Industry is preferred
