Position Details

 

What you will do

 

  • Develop and execute a digital communications strategy deliver value to partners and support business growth.
  • Create a content calendar and compelling content a that is aligned with key audience needs.
  • Maintain the Orion Travel Insurance website, portal and social media channels to ensure consistent content updates, adherence to brand, and an optimized customer journey.
  • Develop and maintain superior relationships with key insurance partners, stakeholders and vendors.
  • Participate in trade shows, industry networking functions and conferences. Co-lead annual partner forum including event planning and communications.
  • Lead annual brand training session and ensure brand playbook is maintained.
  • Provide sales support by collaborating with the Business Development, Product and Underwriting teams on innovative communications and marketing campaigns.
  • Liaise with Business Development team and with industry organizations to promote Orion Travel Insurance offerings at industry events, speaking engagements, panels, interviews and tradeshows.
  • Provide an ongoing consultative sales approach and lead cross functional working group to create value for partners nationally.

 

Who you are

  • University degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field with 3-5 years of previous experience.
  • Prior experience in communications program management and execution as well as strategy development.
  • Experience developing integrated communications plans aligned with key messaging.
  • Experience translating technical information or concepts into easily digestible communications and content.
  • Experience working with digital platforms (Social, Email, Marketing automation, CMS systems).
  • Internal/external/partner relationship management.
  • Strong project management skills
  • Knowledge of B2B marketing principles, practices and standards a plus.
  • Previous experience in insurance a strong asset.
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal effectiveness.
  • Collaborate effectively and demonstrated ability to influence.
  • Results oriented, with an innovative and curious mindset.
