Position Details
In this role, you will be working on things like:
- Responsible for the administration of Pension and Benefits plans, including short and long-term disability management
- Deals with benefit issues and concerns regarding account and/or services issues with provider and Associates
- Participates in annual benefit renewal process and assists with review of renewal rates with carrier and provides HRIT team with converted benefit rates for payroll system and assists with testing
- Reconciliation and remittance of benefit, pension, wellness and health and safety billing to ensure premiums are paid accurately
- Analyze trends from a benefits perspective (health, dental and wellness) and assist with the development of programs to ensure benefit programs loss ratio is maximized
- Assist with developing initiatives and events to increase awareness of wellness programs that are in line with analysis conducted.
- Member of Wellness Committee with focus on developing programs to support educating and adoption of programs.
Job Requirements
- Post-Secondary degree/diploma in Human Resources
- 1-2 years’ experience in employee benefits
- CHRP and/or CEBS candidate
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical and computer skills
- Aptitude for technology with an understanding of how to use technology to automate policies and processes
- Excellent organization skills and ability to work independently and take initiative to deliver results
