Position Details
What you will do:
- Installation, configuration, deployment & administration of enterprise applications.
- Understand and research system functionality & application dependencies and keep accurate documentation
- Perform day-to-day support, accurately identify, and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Provide accurate timely reports to management regarding status of critical systems & processes
- Actively participate in Agile development projects to represent the interests of maintaining Production application stability and adhering to Production readiness standards
- Strive to improve production environment stability by working with others to set up, maintain and monitor applications and systems, while meeting availability targets.
- Actively participate in DR planning and design, be involved in DR exercise
- Timely prioritization & escalation of incidents to Senior Management
- Build, automate, maintain & troubleshoot end-to-end release management (CI/CD) flows
- Automate routine tasks to improve efficiency and optimize operational environment
- Develop and use appropriate metrics to monitor production environment
- Follow established processes/standards, technology architecture, risk and production capacity guidelines
- Work with infrastructure teams to establish best practices & standards for application installation, configuration & troubleshooting
- Work with external vendors to coordinate a variety of functions including support, upgrades, patches
- Debug & analyze application issues using standard tools available in the market
- Maintain technology currency
Who you are:
- 4-5 years relevant experience
- Experience supporting websites and API’s
- Experience supporting .Net Web applications
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Production support experience with enterprise applications
- Production working experience of both Linux and Windows operating systems
- SQL/database experience
- Change management and incident management experience
- Familiar with Software Development Life Cycle
- Strong communications skills both verbal and written for a client facing role
- Ability to work on a flexible time schedule outside of normal working hours for production deployments and application support
- General knowledge API and Web Applications
- Experience setting up application monitoring (SCOM, Dynatrace etc…)
- Experience with Agile methodology
- Experience setting up & automating CI/CD flow
