Position Details

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with business areas to understand business needs and assist in developing measurement plans for site development, campaigns, and marketing planning
  • Create, maintain, update, and deliver Data Studio dashboards and reports that provide stakeholders with adequate measurement of their business drivers, specifically as they pertain to the online channel 
  • Develop advanced tagging strategies for measuring attribution and capturing multi-channel campaign performance across digital channels based on agreed measurement plans
  • Derive core insights from data to suggest, create and execute multivariate or a/b/c tests that drive fundamental improvements to the website experience
  • Extract web data from Google Analytics (GA) or another web analytics platform and create automated reports, based on the business requirements 
  • Analyze user trends and provide recommendations based on browsing habits
  • Update existing report templates and enhance where applicable 
  • Provide detailed analysis of statics that are outside of anticipated norms 
  • Co-ordinate and assist with coding, testing, and debugging custom analytics tracking code and tagging implementations
  • Configure analytics tools and troubleshoot web analytics data problems
  • Manage and maintain relationship with agencies

Who You Are 

  • University/College Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics or Business Administration
  • 3-5 years of related experience in an analytics role, preferably for digital data
  • Extensive experience with Google Analytics (GA4), Data Studio 
  • Knowledge of data extraction and visualization tools (e.g. Hotjar) 
  • Understanding of website traffic and data metrics analysis 
  • Ability to gather business requirements, think critically, create best-fit solutions to meet clients' needs and produce documentation, presentations, and business cases for internal and client use
  • Ability to manage vendors and internal relationships and communicate effectively to multi-disciplined teams
  • Web analytics knowledge, experience and regular usage with at least one web analytics tool for a minimum of 2 years
  • Understanding of common web protocols (HTTP, FTP), CMS and web architecture
