Position Details
What You Will Do
- Initiate, plan, lead, and execute construction, renovation, remediation, repair and maintenance projects in a timely manner.
- Use the building automation system (BAS) to monitor, and maintain building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life‑safety systems.
- Directly manage vendors and trades in the execution of ongoing building maintenance, repairs.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure building facilities remain safe, fully operational, and well maintained.
- Maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation related to maintenance activities and compliance requirements.
- Lead and manage the end-to-end RFQ, and RFP processes for Facilities-related projects and services.
- Analyze and evaluate vendor bid proposals while ensuring vendors meet company policies and legal requirements including WSIB and Insurance.
- Work with reporting manager and in-legal department to ensure Contracts are in the best interest of the company and T&Cs are reviewed.
- Schedule and conduct regular project meetings with internal clients, external consultants, vendors and stakeholders.
- Effectively utilize architectural drawings and written and visual materials to communicate concepts, designs, objectives, and solutions, to all stakeholders.
- Manage routine administrative functions including invoice processing and maintenance of document and database records.
- Look for opportunities to maintain and improve Health and Safety for all Associates, in the corporate workplace and home office.
- Support Associates with workstation reconfigurations, access cards, and photo identification badges.
- Provide customer service to Associates to facilitate and support their experience within the building.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Who You Are
- Minimum of five years of experience in a related field.
- Post-secondary education in the field of facilities management or commercial building maintenance.
- Experience in construction/renovation/remediation/improvement projects.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety building systems.
- Experience in commercial property maintenance, property management and building automation systems (BAS).
- Demonstrated strong communication and ability to communicate information effectively including managing complex/technical information to all levels of audience.
- Strong organization, project coordination, scheduling, and cost management skills within a team environment.
- Organized and can effectively handle multiple priorities.
- Possession of a valid drivers' license and reliable transportation.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety practices and legal obligations and best practices.
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Project.
- Available for on-call after hours and weekends.
- Available for to work fully on-site at our corporate office.
