Position Details

What you will do

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life‑safety, and building automation systems (BAS)
  • Perform regular inspections, preventative maintenance, and general repairs such as adjusting mechanical parts, patching drywall & painting, changing filters and replacing ceiling tiles
  • Respond to service requests, alarms, and emergency situations in a timely and professional manner
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs with external contractors as required
  • Maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation related to maintenance activities and compliance requirements
  • Support Associates with Office reconfigurations; Workstation assembly and disassembly
  • Provide customer service to Associates to facilitate and support their experience within the building
  • Ensure work is completed in accordance with applicable codes, regulations, safety standards, and organizational policies
  • Communicate effectively with occupants, vendors, and internal teams to support a positive building environment
  • Travel to other locations when needed to perform maintenance and repairs or to facilitate external contractors
  • Participate in the execution of projects working collaboratively across multiple departments and stakeholders
  • On-call after hours and weekends – will be the primary after hours contact and first-responder
  • Respond to emergencies and implement emergency mitigation and remediation

The expected salary range for this position will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. Who you are

  • Grade 12 and or post secondary education
  • Minimum 1 years of relevant work experience
  • Working knowledge of HVAC systems, BAS, electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems.
  • Familiarity with health and safety legislation and best practices
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills (email, work order ticket systems, invoicing systems, document database systems)
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations for commercial facilities
  • Familiarity with (BAS) Building Automation Systems
  • Can utilize Architectural and Engineered drawings and specifications
  • Training related to WHMIS, confined space, working at heights, or lockout/tagout
  • Possession of a valid drivers’ license and reliable transportation
  • Participation in on‑call rotation, and emergency response as required
  • Availability to work fully in office
