Position Details
Reporting to the Director, Payroll & HRIS, the HR Reporting Analyst will be a key contributor to the People Analytics & Reporting function.
The HR Reporting Analyst will provide value by being pro-active in providing valuable reporting solutions to various groups, while maintaining accurate and timely output for existing reports.
What You Will Do
- Translate datasets into business insights that will enable decision makers in making well-informed business decisions.
- Create best-practice reports based on data mining, cleaning, analysis, and visualization
- Deliver meaningful metrics, trends, key insights and detailed analysis in all areas of HR support and services through data interpretation and analysis from multiple data sources
- Supports HR Operations and administration including reconciliation of accounts, budgeting, identification and implementation of initiatives/solutions to enhance efficiency
- Works closely with HR Consultants and other internal stakeholders (LOBs) to understand their strategic & operational objectives as well as pain points. This process involves the uncovering of analytical needs, gathering or generation of data, data validation, data extraction and analysis, development of critical metrics and KPIs, and formulation and communication of key business and HR insights among others.
- As a member of the Total Rewards team, you will participate in system configuration, testing, and implementation

The expected salary range for this position will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. Who You Are
- University degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics or related field.
- Post-graduate certification or master’s program in Data Science or Analytics is preferred but not required.
- 1-3 years’ experience in reporting and analytics with an inquisitive mindset and genuine interest in problem solving
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, using macros, pivot tables, v/h lookups, and various equations
- Experience working with SAP SuccessFactors is an asset.
- Proficient in MS Word and PowerBI, with the ability to compare and edit technical documentation and create multilevel lists, charts, images and dynamic presentations.
- Familiarity with People Analytics tools such as; Tableau, Visier People or ChartHop is an asset
- Strong project management skills and proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong data analysis and interpretation skills
- Able to communicate complex and technical information in simple terms
- Very strong attention to detail
