Position Details

What You Will Do:
•    Participate and contribute to the annual Insurance strategic planning sessions. Assisting in the development of the annual Marketing Plan for acquisition initiatives.
•    Lead campaign planning meetings and brainstorms with key stakeholders to obtain new marketing ideas and obtain key insights/feedback.
•    Develop strategic marketing plans for each acquisition initiative (as required), in the context of the overarching annual sales Plan (in collaboration with Marketing Manager), based on a strong understanding of objectives,                  timelines and budgets.
•    Manage the end-to-end marketing campaign process to meet key performance indicators (new sales, cost of acquisition) as per the annual marketing plan.
•    Write and deliver effective creative briefs to ensure that materials are relevant, targeted, and high quality.
•    Work with database marketing team to establish analytics and reporting, including member profiling/segmentation and ongoing reporting to understand member behaviour.
•    Work with key stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure delivery of campaign-related requirements is completed in a manner consistent with a superior customer experience
•    Develop and maintain relationships with vendors; manage and negotiate pricing with suppliers and vendors on marketing services. 


Who You Are
•    University degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
•    Certificate or other specialized formal training in marketing or business would be an asset.
•    Relevant marketing experience in the Insurance industry (Life Insurance or P&C) would be an asset. 
•    Experience in the management of strategy and results driven marketing campaigns through various channels, including DM, digital and segmented target audiences.
•    Strong understanding of marketing principles, practices and standards, with experience in integrating online and offline initiatives.
•    Excellent communication skills and interpersonal ability.
•    Experience in Internal / external partner relationship management.
•    Demonstrated aptitude to numbers and comfortable working with budgets and analytics.
•    Ability to bring innovative ideas to business.
•    Superior project management, organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
