Position Details
What you will do
- Consult with business partners in Insurance to develop training programs and select the most effective and appropriate instructional methods/materials to reinforce the participants’ learning and enhance knowledge retention.
- Use your energetic attitude and engaging public speaking skills to present information using a variety of instructional techniques and formats.
- Stay current on the insurance industry as well as abreast of training and development trends, activities and techniques to ensure that you stay current with the industry.
Who you are –
• Having Post-secondary degree/diploma and interest in pursuing Adult Education certification
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working in the insurance industry in the capacity of broker/agent/underwriter/claims adjuster
• Minimum 5 years of experience in training development using different delivery modalities is a must
• Minimum 5 years of experience in training delivery
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience using Articulate Storyline and Camtasia is preferred
• Strong analytical skills
• French language proficiency is an asset
*This position is based in Thornhill, with travel required to offsite locations occasionally*.
