Position Details
What You Will Do
• Take the lead on coordinating, compiling, and editing the quarterly operational board reports for CAA Club Group (CCG).
• Responsible for transitioning these duties from the CCG finance team, and streamlining the quarterly tasks and collaboration required to successfully prepare all required board materials.
• Coordination of our quarterly financial highlight documents for CCG and its subsidiary insurance companies. You will support our Finance Department with editing the verbiage of financial reports with a goal of ensuring a clear narrative that explains the metrics we are reporting on.
• Collaborate closely with the Finance Department and other members of the Senior Leadership Team to coordinate, compile, and edit the Annual Management Discussion and Analysis, ensuring that the narrative always supports and aligns with the numbers and metrics being presented.
• Take the lead on preparing the CCG’s Annual Member Report through collaboration with various internal stakeholders.
• Work closely with the Marketing and the BI departments to prepare any necessary graphics needed to support reporting documents and presentations.
• Suggest process, presentation, and content improvements to bring added value, save time and effort, and present a clear and connected storyline to board members.
• Researching, writing, and coordinating the review process for the annual Strategic Plan pre-read document. Work closely with internal Finance functions, including FP&A, BI and Investments to craft accurate and articulate outlooks for each LOB within the CCG portfolio.
• Work closely with the Finance Department to ensure that CCG’s strategic narrative is clearly presented in all management and board presentations.
• Work with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) across CCG to prepare scheduled and ad-hoc board education session presentations. This includes, but is not limited to, compiling necessary information, drafting presentations, coordinating reviews and updates with all stakeholders, coordinating design and graphics, and overall project management.
• Working with other members of the team and the broader organization to identify and implement process improvement strategies to help increase efficiencies.
• Provide recommendations to enhance how we collaborate with other members of the organization.
• Review our process for operational and strategic reporting on an annual basis to identify ways in which to improve.
Who You Are
• Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Journalism, Communications.
• 5-7 years industry experience; Investor Relations experience preferred.
• Experience developing integrated communications plans aligned with key messaging.
• Experience translating technical information or concepts into easily digestible communications and content.
• Financial reporting: the ability to turn numbers into a narrative that tells the appropriate story.
• Project management: the ability to manage stakeholder relations while moving projects forward in a timely manner.
• Experience working with and maintaining accuracy and consistency across sensitive, detailed, and technical information and concepts.
