About Us

We are looking for a Marketing Database Analyst to join our Marketing Analytics and Insights team. This role will provide data governance and analytics support including Marketing Analytics Datamart maintenance, data integration, facilitating analytical tools and predictive model development & implementation. We regret that those without SAS and SQL experience will not be considered for the role.

Position Details

  • Maintain the Marketing Analytics Datamart including data daily refresh and monthly rollups. Ensure data accuracy and data integrity.
  • Identify data/process issues, notify the impacts to both internal team members and external clients in a timely manner and assist problem solving
  • Develop and maintain robust and user-friendly Power BI reports/dashboards for marketing data performance tracking.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Test and data QA. On behalf of Marketing, act as the Subject Matter Expert in data, system and platform new launch and/or upgrade.
  • Ensure all campaign data transfers follow the standards. Identify opportunities of streamlining and automating data transfers to improve efficiency.
  • Assist the Supervisor of Marketing Data & Analytics in data exploration, preparation, interpretation and integration of both internal and external data to meet ever-growing business needs.
  • Facilitate marketing LOBs in the adoption and implementation of customer segmentation, marketing predictive models and analytical tools built by the team. Being an advocator and facilitator of the member-centric strategy.
  • Assist the Supervisor to partner with various analytics teams across the organization and stay abreast of latest data trends. 

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, Engineering or Commerce.
  • 5+ years of analytics experience in database marketing data governance, campaign management, hypothesis testing and experimental design.
  • 5+ years of marketing analytics experience in retail, travel, insurance, CRM or loyalty. 
  • SAS Certified Advanced Programmer (SAS 9).
  • 5+ years of SAS/SQL programming with large database.
  • Highly collaborative with excellent communication and story-telling skills -- a true bridge between data and business.
  • 5+ years of BI reporting and visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI or Tableau.
  • Knowledge of predictive modeling is an asset.
