Position Details

CCG is looking for a dynamic Marketing Strategist. In this role you will act as the strategic marketing resource for all Membership Retention and Automotive Marketing initiatives, to drive Membership and Automotive goals as part of CAA Club Group’s strategy. Initiatives include but are not limited to lifecycle marketing, benefit marketing, automotive marketing, digital marketing, direct marketing, and journeys to increase Member engagement and renewals.

What you will do:

  • Develop, recommend, and execute lifecycle/CRM strategies, plans, roadmaps, and programs across multiple channels with a focus on Member engagement and driving retention.
  • Develop and execute on marketing plans to promote CAA automotive services, all with the goal of maintaining CAA’s leadership in the automotive industry.
  • Work closely with and lead campaign planning meetings with key stakeholders to identify new marketing ideas, to align on marketing plans that address defined objectives and strategies and to obtain key insights/feedback.
  • Understand, define, and optimize key customer segments, perform cohort analysis, and recommend lifecycle marketing opportunities, leveraging customer journey mapping.
  • Manage the end-to-end marketing campaign process to meet key performance indicators as per the annual marketing plans.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies of marketing tactics and optimize marketing plans to garner results.
  • Proactively identify research needs and other Member data opportunities and proactively work with internal stakeholders (i.e., Business Insights & Analytics) to address them.
  • Identify unique ways to enhance the value proposition, highlight key differentiators and present recommendations for consideration.
  • Consistently track and report on marketing results, KPIs, campaign results, and insights to identify opportunities.


Who you are:

  • College diploma or University degree in Marketing, Business, Strategy, or a related field.
  • Relevant prior B2B and/or B2C marketing and/or product management experience related to retention marketing, including experience developing strategic marketing plans, metrics, customer lifecycle management, churn rate, customer segmentation and multi-product penetration.
  • Ability to develop sound marketing strategy (think big) and execute plans efficiently.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, practices, and standards, with experience in integrating online and offline initiatives.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for interpretation and application of data and insights and comfortable working with budgets.
  • Results driven, with superior project management, organizational skills, and attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and foster collaborative and constructive internal and external partner relationships.
  • Experience with analysis, assembling insights, crafting a story, and sharing it with stakeholders and senior leaders.
