Position Details

What You Will Do 

  • Manage Privacy Office inbox and phone line
  • Review and respond to customer or policyholder inquiries
  • Review and respond to privacy access requests   
  • Maintain log of privacy incidents
  • Produce monthly, quarterly and year-end reports related to Privacy office activities
  • Assess privacy incidents in collaboration with Director, Regulatory Compliance & Privacy to determine whether reportable or not based on legal standards, and complete mandatory breach reporting 
  • Conduct privacy impact assessments for new initiatives
  • Annually review and maintain CCG, CAA Insurance and Orion privacy policies and related processes
  • As backup for Manager, Regulatory Compliance, support day to day activities of the compliance management process, including use of Ethidex system.

Who you are 

  • Completed University Degree in a relevant field 
  • 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • CIPP/Canada designation would be preferred but not required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
  • Strong communication and presentation skills written and verbal
  • Strong customer service orientation
