Position Details
What You Will Do
- Manage Privacy Office inbox and phone line
- Review and respond to customer or policyholder inquiries
- Review and respond to privacy access requests
- Maintain log of privacy incidents
- Produce monthly, quarterly and year-end reports related to Privacy office activities
- Assess privacy incidents in collaboration with Director, Regulatory Compliance & Privacy to determine whether reportable or not based on legal standards, and complete mandatory breach reporting
- Conduct privacy impact assessments for new initiatives
- Annually review and maintain CCG, CAA Insurance and Orion privacy policies and related processes
- As backup for Manager, Regulatory Compliance, support day to day activities of the compliance management process, including use of Ethidex system.
Who you are
- Completed University Degree in a relevant field
- 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- CIPP/Canada designation would be preferred but not required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
- Strong communication and presentation skills written and verbal
- Strong customer service orientation
