Position Details

What You Will Do

  • Install, configure, and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex OS-level issues
  • Deploy, manage, and optimize OpenShift clusters, ensuring high availability
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts (Bash, Python, Ansible) for system tasks
  • Administer virtualization environments (VMware, KVM, Hyper-V, etc.)
  • Design and implement enterprise storage solutions (SAN/NAS)
  • Manage backup and recovery processes, ensuring data integrity and compliance
  • Deploy, manage, and optimize Azure Red Hat OpenShift clusters for enterprise workloads
  • Provision, configure, and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux VMs in Azure
  • Manage resource groups, networking, and storage associated with Linux-based workloads
  • Implement security best practices and hardening procedures
  • Maintain tidy and organized datacenters, computer rooms, and retail racks, ensuring all equipment and cabling meet established standards
  • Ensure all hardware and infrastructure within datacenter sites are built, installed, and maintained according to documented best practices
  • Participate in a rotating support schedule, including after-hours and on-call coverage, to ensure the reliability and availability of critical systems
  • Respond promptly to incidents, service requests, and system outages, providing expert troubleshooting and resolution
  • Other duties as required

 

Who You Are

  • 7 years equivalent work experience in the field of System Administration
  • Minimum 3 years of practical experience working as a senior network technician with sound knowledge of general data center infrastructure hardware and systems
  • Relevant certifications (RHCE, OpenShift, VMware, Azure, etc.) is an asset
  • Extensive experience with Red Hat Linux administration
  • Hands-on expertise with OpenShift or similar container orchestration platforms.
  • Strong background in enterprise storage and backup technologies
  • Proficiency in virtualization platforms (VMware, KVM, Hyper-V)
  • Strong scripting and automation skills
