Position Details

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Analyst to support and enhance our production insurance systems across Property & Casualty (P&C) and Travel Medical Insurance lines of business. This role is responsible for analyzing and resolving production incidents, deploying releases and configuration changes, and ensuring the stability, performance and reliability of applications running across Windows, Linux and AWS environments.

 

What You Will Do

  • Provide day-to-day support for production insurance systems (P&C and Travel Medical)
  • Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve production incidents within SLA timelines
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions
  • Collaborate with business, BA, development, DevOps and vendor teams to ensure timely resolution of issues
  • Deploy application releases, configuration updates and hotfixes across Windows, Linux and AWS environments
  • Validate deployments, perform smoke testing and coordinate with stakeholders\
  • Support applications hosted on Windows Server, Linux (RHEL preferred) and AWS
  • Manage and troubleshoot components such as IIS, Tomcat and cloud-native services
  • Review logs, monitor system health and proactively identify performance issues
  • Write and maintain high-quality support documentation, runbooks and deployment guides
  • Utilize monitoring tools (e.g., SCOM, Pingdom, Datadog, CloudWatch, CloudTrail) for performance analysis and alerting
  • Support implementation and tuning of monitoring dashboards and automated alerts
  • Work closely with internal IT teams, business stakeholders and external vendors
  • Communicate technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as required

The expected salary range for this position will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. Who You Are

  • 5+ years of experience supporting production applications
  • Experience supporting insurance systems (P&C and/or Travel Medical)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows, Linux and AWS environments
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Server IIS, Linux (RHEL preferred), application servers (Tomcat or similar)
  • Experience deploying applications, web service and configuration changes
  • Ability to read and interpret logs, XML, JSON and integration payloads
  • Understanding of SDLC, DevOps practices, CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, TeamCity or similar)
  • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate
  • Strong communication, analytical and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of insurance business processes (P&C and/or Travel Medical) preferred
  • ITIL certification preferred
