Position Details

Our Travel group tour operator division (Extraordinary Explorations) is looking for a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join the team on a 12 month contract as a Travel Groups Supervisor.

What you will do:

  • Update, communicate and monitor compliance with Department Policies and Procedures
  • Seek out training and specialization on group products for the team
  • Extraordinary Explorations Product Development
  • Strategically and Operationally contribute to the growth of the Extraordinary Explorations program
  • Plays a lead role in the creative process of the semi-annual Extraordinary Explorations brochure
  • Development and welfare of the Extraordinary Explorations team

  • Prepare and facilitate performance reviews, including goal setting for the team
  • Assist in the facilitation and planning of exclusive or unique travel products and services
  • Implement and monitor the Extraordinary Explorations product objectives, plans and budgets
  • Managing the budget for the  Extraordinary Explorations area
  • Monitor agreed sales, revenue and cost projections

Who you are:

  • Minimum of 10 years in travel, preferably in Groups Travel

  • 5 Years leadership experience
  • Diploma in Travel & Tourism or related field
  • Strong group building and destination/product knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of cruise group process
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office products
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation and communication skills
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • The role may include some out of province and/or out of country travel, willigness to travel is an asset
