Position Details

 

What You Will Do

 

  • Assist the IT Contracts and Vendor Relationship Manager to document vendor key performance indicators, service level agreements, and associated tracking, reporting, and analysis
  • Appropriate organization and retention of IT vendor related artifacts and information
  • Provide prompt service request support including but not limited to coordinating with vendors to maintain clear communication and timely responses, monitoring workflows, securing all internal approvals, and managing the contract signature process
  • Enter all transactions (renewals, orders, SOW, etc.) into Cobblestone, the corporate contracts database
  • Maintain and enhance the IT vendor contact list
  • Leverage vendor surveys into scorecards to provide analysis and commentary on relationships to IT Senior Management
  • Vendor process management - maintain knowledge on CAA internal policies, processes, procedures, practices and programs to ensure adherence / compliance
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of CAA Club Group's strategic business plans and associated information technology vendor relationship needs
  • Facilitate sound IT vendor-related business decisions by assisting the IT Contracts and Vendor Relationship Manager to provide up-to-date, accurate information to IT leadership at CAA
  • Ensure all new IT proposed purchases and relationships are appropriately vetted by Legal and Finance as required
  • Ensure all vendor information and contact details are maintained and available in the event of an unplanned event, incident or disaster
  • Other duties as required

The expected salary range for this position will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. Who You Are

 

  • Post secondary education in Information Systems, business, legal administration, contract administration or work experience in vendor management or contract management in an IT / IS environment
  • 2 - 5 years related industry/professional experience with vendor relationship management, contracts negotiation, contract drafting, and vendor performance management for IT systems and services
  • Practical experience in the field of vendor management, contract management in Information Systems
  • Advance knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Power BI is an asset
  • Proven ability to act in an ethical and transparent manner in legal compliance with corporate code of conduct
  • Knowledge of sourcing practices including vendor selection, supplier performance scorecard, budget tracking, etc.
  • Ability to develop credibility and maintain relationships with all levels of management, business partners and vendors
  • Project management skills with ability to organize, control and coordinate a variety of activities in a fast-paced and agile environment
  • Knowledge of professional services, hardware and software contracts
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks efficiently in a high-pressure environment by demonstrating strong skills in collaboration and communication and paying close attention to the accuracy and completeness of the details in all work products.
