Position Details
What You Will Do:
- Conduct investigations through review of internal/external data/systems per department Standard Operating Procedures
- Investigations require identifying Member behavior in contravention of CAA SCO & CAA MB Membership Terms & Conditions as well as root cause analysis
- Support ERS Compliance, CCG Legal and other business units with investigative work as requested
- Investigations require the ability to work in various systems, such as SAP, D3, CPMS, and RMS
- Liaise with local law enforcement at the direction of area management
- Provide recommendations for action post-investigation
- Work with the SIU II team to ensure actions are conducted in a timely manner and questions are resolved quickly
- Based on root cause analysis and case investigations, provide recommendations to the Call Centre, Dispatch, and Network Relations departments to mitigate misuse activities
- As above, provide recommendations to the Marketing department for addition/clarification of clauses within the Membership Terms and Conditions to ensure appropriate use is clear to our Members
- As needed, provide recommendations to enhancements of the tools used to conduct case investigations
- Present on SIU cases/topics to internal Associates

The expected salary range for this position will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. Who You Are:
- Minimum 3+ years of professional working history completed or in progress
- Post-Secondary degree/diploma in a related field such as risk management, investigations, or law enforcement, and/or additional training or certification in a related discipline (e.g., CFE, Licensed PI)
- Completion of or willingness to obtain Private Investigator License per Private Security and Investigative Services Act, 2005
- Completion of or willingness to obtain Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Superior organization skills and dedication to completing work in a timely manner
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 11
- Experience with Microsoft collaboration platforms – Skype, Teams, SharePoint
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook
- Experience with conducting internet searches across a variety of platforms including Google, and social media – Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn
- Proficiency in online mapping tools including Google Maps and MapQuest
- Experience with SAP or a similar Enterprise Resource Planning system
- Experience with D3 or a similar dispatching platform
- Experience with Avaya Contact Recorder or Avaya QM15
- Knowledge of CAA’s Membership Terms and Conditions and Roadside policies and procedures is considered an asset
