Position Details

Member Service Counsellor

The Member Service Counsellor (MSC) is the primary point of contact for prospective and existing Members visiting our Kiosk at Outlet Collection and Retail Service Center Locations. Some main responsibilities of an MSC include sell new CAA memberships; Renew and Upgrade existing CAA memberships; Update Member accounts. Respond to Member enquiries regarding Travel, Insurance, and Member Benefits, providing prospective members with information on all Manitoba CAA Club Group services and maintain an understanding of all lines of business, incentives and promotions being offered.

Required Qualifications/Skills:  

  • Ability to work with the public in a confident and professional manner, ensuring Members’ privacy and consumer interests are protected.
  • Ability to work varied shifts ranging from Monday to Saturday 10AM to 9PM and Sunday 11AM to 6PM.
  • Excellent customer service skills required.
  • Excellent communication skills required.
  • Excellent computer skills required.
  • Sales Experience an Asset.


Travel Agent

As part of our Travel Agent Team at CAA Club Group of companies, CAA Travel Agents sell a full range of travel products and services. Providing exceptional customer service CAA Travel Agents make researched recommendations and advise clients in order to provide a pleasant and enjoyable travel experience. Other responsibilities will include performing related processing functions, sells all travel products including domestic and international air, train, cruise, tour, CAA exclusive group departures, travel insurance, hotel and car reservations. Promote CAA memberships and all CAA products, services and benefits including all CAA/AAA preferred partnerships and marketing initiatives.

Required Qualifications/Skills:  

  • Graduate of Post Secondary Education Program in Travel Counselling.
  • Enrolment in or accreditation as a CITC (Canadian Institute of Travel Consultants) or Certified Travel Consultant (CTC).
  • Three (3) years of experience in a Travel Consultant (Agent) position.
  • Certification in Apollo (Focal Point) GDS.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications.


Tow Truck / Battery Assist Driver

Our Tow Truck Drivers put our members first every day. We provide a service experience that you do not get anywhere else. As a Tow Truck Driver at CAA Club Group of companies, some main responsibilities include attending Emergency Road Service calls that includes battery boosting, flat tires, lockouts, gas, extrications, and tows. When attending ERS calls you will provide an accurate diagnosis of battery condition, charging system output, and any electrical drain that may hamper the operation of the member’s vehicle, as well as basic troubleshooting and quick-fix guidelines to achieve a “Go or Tow” assessment.

Required Qualifications/Skills:  

  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Previous experience dealing with customers and providing quality customer service
  • Knowledge of the city of Winnipeg, and rural geography of Manitoba
  • Previous experience operating a tow truck or other heavy equipment.
  • Basic computer and keyboarding skills
  • Current Provincial Drivers License with no more than 4 demerits.
