Position Details

What You Will Do

  • Investigation, evaluation, negotiation and settlement and administration of all accident benefit claims under Section B of the Auto Policy.
  • Handle injury claims that involve co-ordination of medical benefits as well as weekly indemnity and housekeeping.
  • At times, dealing with Plaintiff’s Counsel and Defense Counsel as part of claims management 

 

What You Have

  • Insurance/Claims experience an asset 
  • Well-honed negotiation skills
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and oral
  • Strong organizational and time management skills coupled with strong decision-making skills
  • Medical background in any capacity an asset
  • Post- secondary education in a related field is an asset
  • Completed CIP course Principles and Practices an asset 
  • Working towards CIP designation is mandatory
