Position Details

What You Will Do
• Investigation, evaluation, negotiation and settlement and administration of all accident benefit claims in the Maritime region
• Handle MIG and non-MIG files up to the point of CAT
• This role does not have an ADR component, although, there is opportunity to be part of mediations, arbitrations and discoveries as learning opportunities
What You Have
• Minimum of 2-3 years claims handling experience
• Well-honed negotiation skills
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional communication skills both written and oral
• Strong organizational and time management skills coupled with strong decision-making skills
• Post- secondary education in a related field, and/or working towards CIP designation would be preferred
