Position Details
What You Will Do
- Conduct internal investigations including setting up statements, scene investigations, and neighborhood canvasses. Collaborate with the lead adjuster, different vendors and experts to contemplate vehicle inspections, EUO and investigative steps towards resolution of investigative file.
- Evaluate liability, and subrogation exposures and potential
- Provide reports to Leadership for Denied Claims and possible escalated situations in a concise and timely manner
- Assist with investigative services reporting as required and developed
- Present at the Fraud Committee meeting with findings and recommendations
- Provide & maintain clear and precise documentation of all conversations and file activity
- Communicate with other departments through the handling of the file (Underwriting, CAD, Claims)

The expected salary range for this position will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. Who You Are
- Post-secondary education completed
- Minimum of 3 years experience in claims handling with knowledge preferred in Property and Accident Benefit claims
- Completion of or willingness to obtain the following license/certification/courses: Private Investigator License, Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification, OSINT, Fire Investigation and ICAR courses
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work in cross functional teams
- High level of attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to make decisions or take actions to solve a problem or reach a goal
- Strong negotiations and analytical skills
