Position Details

 

What You Will Do:

  • Plan and lead team in execution of system solutions, providing regular updates to stakeholders and Business Solutions Manager(s) regarding progress and emerging issues across various functions of the organization at a National level
  • Solve highly complex or escalated issues (level 3) by applying a breadth of technical and business expertise to identify innovative solutions
  • Lead change and test approach methodology
  • Explore and research new tools & system changes to improve workflows
  • Provide strategic leadership, coaching, and development of a group of diverse professionals to achieve organizational objectives
  • Identify and evaluate risks, and recommend mitigation strategies ensuring both compliance and usability of insurance systems
  • Maintain positive and trust-based relationships with internal and external stakeholders as well as third-party vendors

 

Who You Are:

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of people leadership experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • ​​​​​​​Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent written communication, verbal communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience in a P&C Insurance environment is an asset
  • CBAP, CTAL-TM designations or equivalent Business Analysis/Testing certifications and experience are an asset
  • Experience using MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), MS Visio and MS Project
