Position Details
What you will do:
⦁ Conduct field appraisals within a defined territory while maintaining quality and performance standards
⦁ Schedule field appraisals and ensure prompt delivery of appraisal reports to Claims unit
⦁ Efficient record keeping for all logs and reporting
⦁ Establish and maintain all inspections including random on the spot inspections
⦁ Support Auto PD Adjusters
⦁ Participate in industry events, training of other PD staff, and special projects
Job Requirements
⦁ Minimum of 3 years’ experience with estimating or appraisal in a collision repair shop or insurance claims environment
⦁ Working knowledge of electronic estimating software and relevant industry technical qualifications such as I-Car courses
⦁ Post-secondary education
⦁ Excellent communication skills both written and oral
⦁ Excellent organizational skills
⦁ Superior customer service and interpersonal skills
⦁ Excellent negotiation skills
