Position Details

Job responsibilities

 

  • Conduct field appraisals within a defined territory while maintaining quality and performance standards
  • Schedule field appraisals and ensure prompt delivery of appraisal reports to Claims unit
  • Efficient record keeping for all logs and reporting 
  • Establish and maintain all inspections including random on the spot inspections
  • Support Auto PD Adjusters 
  • Participate in industry events, training of other PD staff, and special projects

    
Job Requirements 
 

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with estimating or appraisal in a collision repair shop or insurance claims environment 
  • Working knowledge of electronic estimating software and relevant industry technical qualifications such as I-Car courses
  • Post-secondary education 
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral 
  • Excellent organizational skills 
  • Superior customer service and interpersonal skills 
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to work remotely, independently, and unsupervised
