Position Details

What You Will Do 

  • Review documents to determine recovery or salvage remittance
  • Order all police reports as required
  • Ensure adequate reserving practices
  • Identify responsible parties and place on notice/ create recovery packages  
  • Proactive diary with and regular follow up calls with members, TPA, PC’s, etc.
  • File reporting  as per company procedure including processing payments
  • Ensure immediate and effective responses are provided through written/telephone communication to the following; (lawyers, clients, third parties)
  • Ongoing processing of claims, detailed and thorough liability and quantum investigation, needs analysis, and delivery of superior customer service
  • Determine that proper reserves have been established

 

Who You Are

  • Post-secondary education completed and equivalent work experience in a related field
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in claims, subrogation or collections
  • Property/Auto Claims Experience is an asset
  • Excellent customer service experience 
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work in cross functional teams 
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong negotiations and analytical skills
