Position Details

What you will do:

This position plays a key role in supporting the execution and operationalization of TPRM and Strategic Sourcing initiatives across CCG. This role will collaborate closely with various teams and stakeholders to identify, assess, monitor, manage and report on the risks that third parties can bring to CCG.  In addition,  this role assists and supports in operationalization of the TPRM Program and development of Strategic Sourcing strategies.

  • Assist in leading Business Units throughout TPRM activities across the third-party risk management lifecycle.
  • Support in maintaining and updating the TPRM Framework and Policy while aligning with regulatory requirements.
  • Support in facilitating the Strategic Sourcing lifecycle.
  • Monitor compliance with TPRM Policy, including tracking and reporting of metrics.
  • Assist in third party risk management for the insurance entities in accordance with OSFI guideline B10.
  • Participate in the implementation of the TPRM technology solution to facilitate third party risk assessments throughout the TPRM lifecycle.
  • Participate in the completion of internal projects and initiatives. 
  • Support in driving TPRM and Strategic Sourcing Program awareness, including collaborating with L&D for TPRM and Sourcing related training. 

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s in Finance, Commerce, Risk Management, Law, or related field.
  • Professional with minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience and a strong background in Risk Management, including TPRM, and Strategic Sourcing.
  • Experience working with P&C insurance and Financial Institutions are considered an asset.
  • Strong current knowledge of the Canadian regulatory landscape (e.g., OSFI B10, OSFI E21) and leading practices in Risk Management (e.g., TPRM, Operational Risk Management, Enterprise Risk Management) is considered an asset.
