Position Details
What You Will Do
- Manage the end-to-end claims lifecycle for automobile and third-party automobile claims, with a specialized focus on total loss, fire, and theft claims.
- Conduct claim investigations, including coordinating, consulting, negotiating and collaborating with appraisers, body shops, third party claimants, adjusters and vendors
- Evaluate liability, salvage and subrogation exposure and potential
- Review and analyze losses to ensure files meet the guideline criteria and determine proper kind of loss
- Maintain adequate reserves based on exposure and authority level

The expected salary range for this position will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. What You Have
- Post-secondary education completion
- 1-5 years prior claims handling experience coupled with 2-3 years customer service experience
- Completion of, or active pursuit of, a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation is considered a strong asset
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Excellent organizational skills
- Superior customer service and interpersonal skills
