Position Details

What You Will Do
•    Perform quote and policy maintenance in accordance with Underwriting rules, guidelines and practices
•    Process all incoming email requests from Brokers, requiring a quote, and input them directly into the Guidewire system, making decisions for eligibility within your authority level
•    Process policy transactions, calculate manual rates, identify gap of pertinent information required and correspond with the applicable Underwriter of record
•    Answer billing and payment inquiries from Brokers and process policy payments and changes
•    Act as the technical point of contact for Guidewire and operational process questions
•    Facilitate good working relationships with vendors of underwriting products and services used by CAA
 
Who You Are
•    1-2 years’ experience in a similar role
•    Post-secondary education completed preferred
•    OTL license (Other than Life) and/or General Insurance Essentials (First CIP course) preferred
•    Knowledge of the Insurance industry is preferred
•    Strong organizational and time management skills, coupled with the ability to multi-task
•    Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
•    Proficient in keyboarding, data entry and MS Office Suite
