Position Details

What you will do:

• Actively participates in development of product, policy wording, insurance material, distribution channels and marketing support
• Gathers and maintains competitive and market intelligence materials
• Conducts needs analysis with key stakeholders to identify, analyze target markets, local marketing initiatives and any ad hoc or niche marketing opportunity requirements
• In conjunction with Marketing and Business stakeholders, develops and maintains an effective communication process, including up-dated product information on intranet, internet and club sites
• Conducts trending reports where required, providing results to Manager and key stakeholders
• Working closely with Business Partners and other departments to respond to product inquiries
• Provide underwriting direction, guidelines and interpretation
• Concise, accurate and timely communications on insurance products to distribution channels, business units and partners
• Demonstrates an independent learner and creator mindset, proactively identifying opportunities to ideate new product concepts and enhance existing offerings

The expected salary range for this position will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. Who you are:

• Post-secondary education in Marketing or Business
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Product Development, Underwriting, Insurance Operations, Marketing and Risk Management in a Property & Casualty environment
• Strategic mindset coupled with exceptional analytical skills
• Ability to multi-task and think outside the box in looking for creative solutions and opportunities
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience using Guidewire, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), MS Visio and MS Project
• CIP designation or working towards it will be considered a strong asset
