Position Details

What will you do: 

  • Develop and execute a digital communications strategy to deliver value to partners and support business growth.
  • Create a content calendar and compelling content across a variety of mediums that is aligned with key audience needs.
  • Manage deployment of monthly emails and maintain email lists.
  • Maintain the Orion Travel Insurance website, portal and social media channels to ensure timely content updates, adherence to brand, and an optimized customer journey.
  • Develop and maintain superior relationships with key insurance partners, stakeholders and vendors.
  • Co-lead the annual partner forum including event planning and communications.
  • Provide sales support by collaborating with the Business Development, Product and Underwriting teams on innovative communications and marketing campaigns.
  • Liaise with Business Development team and with industry organizations to promote Orion Travel Insurance offerings at industry events, speaking engagements, panels, interviews and tradeshows.
  • Provide an ongoing consultative sales approach and lead cross functional meetings and working group to create value for partners nationally.

The expected salary range for this position will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. Who you are: 

  • University degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field with 3-5 years of previous experience.
  • Prior experience in communications program management and execution as well as strategy development.
  • Experience developing integrated communications plans aligned with key messaging.
  • Proven experience in relationship management, and leading internal and external client meetings.
  • Experience translating technical information or concepts into easily digestible communications and content.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Knowledge of B2B marketing principles, practices and standards a plus.
  • Previous experience in insurance a strong asset.
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal effectiveness.
