Position Details
What You Will Do:
This is a 2-year new graduate program in Claims designed to set you up for success as you start your insurance career. The first year is a “Foundational Year”, where you will learn the fundamentals – this will be a combination of in classroom and on-the-job learning through a rotational program designed to provide exposure to various areas within the claims function.
Learn – You will benefit from receiving classroom and on-the-job technical training in addition to receiving guidance from experienced subject matter experts. Your technical learning will also be complemented by soft skills training to ensure you continue to build upon your interpersonal skills for success.
Mentorship – You will be provided with one-on-one mentoring opportunities which will assist with your growth and development during your rotational learning journey.
Growth – You will build a career in the Specialty market and benefit from gaining some of the most desirable skills and experience in insurance.
Claims rotation will take place in the following claim departments:
- Claims Operations (Claims Support, Special Investigation Unit, Quality Assurance and Compliance, Vendor Management)
- Auto Physical Damage
- Property
- Accident Benefits
- Bodily Injury
Please note, salary range is not inclusive of total compensation. The expected salary range for this position will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. Candidates with salary expectations outside of the range are encouraged to apply.
Who You Are:
- A recent post-secondary graduate with an undergraduate degree at the time of hire, preferably with a degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Finance or Business, Criminology, Legal Studies, Construction Management, or Medical related degree
- A competitive GPA
- Strong learning agility, natural curiosity, team oriented, and strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Available to start full-time in May 2026
