Position Details

What You Will Do 


The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for the acquisition, development and retention of talent. In addition, the incumbent will assist with the day-to-day administration of HR activities, support HR projects and be the first point of contact for employees via HR mailbox and other HR tasks. This role is a full-time temporary 12 month contract.


• Effectively manage full cycle recruitment while working closely with internal stakeholders
• Source and attract candidates through identifying and using the latest recruitment tools and strategies
• Effectively manage a high volume of roles and candidates on a national level with minimal direction

• Demonstrate professional direction when engaged with confidential and sensitive information

• Identify prospects through sourcing platforms, networking and other strategies to find qualified active and passive candidates

• Coordinate all new hire paperwork (background check, onboarding documents, etc.)
• Assist with the day-to-day administration of HR activities, including employment offer letters, contracts, employment verification letters, and reports
• Participate and support HR projects
• The first point of contact for employee and other HR tasks as required

 

Who You Are


• 1-4 years of talent acquisition experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, or related field
• Ability to work autonomously and own/drive projects from start to finish 
• Savvy communicator with strong relationship management skills
• Comfort with ambiguity, change, and a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in MS Office and HRIS software
