Position Details

What You Will Do 

Analyze, assess, and respond to privacy-related queries and data subject requests
Document privacy incidents, gather relevant information, and communicate privacy risks to internal stakeholders
Support process improvement initiatives across the Echelon Privacy Program
Support Managers and Directors across Echelon business lines and project teams, as needed, by addressing privacy-related queries in their areas
Stay up to date in current developments in privacy laws, regulations and industry standards.
Maintain a registry for Privacy-related updates, regulatory changes, and Privacy by Design technical advancements
Coordinate projects associated with the Privacy Modernization effort
Support privacy training and awareness effort
Develop and present reports and presentations across Privacy Program initiatives
Work with the Privacy Manager to conduct Privacy Impact Assessments and engage internal and external stakeholders in the process
Analyze privacy impact and risk associated outcomes with new and existing products, processes, and third party agreements/contracts 
Analyze risk assessments to ensure compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and policy requirements for privacy
Gather evidence for and analyze data on privacy practices and processes
Prepare and present periodic reports on risk assessments

Who You Are:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Excellent analytic and recent research skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
CIPP certification (or interest in obtaining within 12 months) is desirable
Knowledge of statistical analyses an asset
