Position Details
What you will do:
- Analyze product performance data to identify trends, risk factors, profitability drivers, and operational opportunities.
- Conduct deep‑dive analyses to identify the root cause of performance issues or emerging trends (e.g., claims patterns, conversion changes, distribution shifts).
- Conduct competitive landscape reviews, including product features, pricing, distribution channels, and emerging trends in travel insurance.
- Contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of travel insurance products, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with Canadian regulations.
- Identify process inefficiencies, propose and support the implementation of solutions.
Who you are:
- Identify process inefficiencies, propose and support the implementation of solutions.
- Post secondary education in Business, Economics, Math/Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in an analytics, product, or business intelligence role (insurance experience an asset).
- Strong MS Office skills.
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and present clear business recommendations.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Works well independently and the ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
