Position Details

Reporting to the Unit Manager, Quality Assurance, the Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for the completion of operational reviews of claims files focusing on adherence to best practices and compliance. 

What you will do:

  • Document and report on compliance adherence and update process and procedure documents.
  • Focus on customer experience through call quality reviews.
  • Adhere to reporting requirements related to Regulatory and Internal Compliance matters.
  • Maintain documentation to coordinate department level workflows, audit processes, and associated compliance. 
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends and changes to ensure Echelon is prepared to respond in a manner consistent with our vision and values.
  • Support Senior Quality Assurance Specialists in delivering on the quality assurance goals.
  • Participate in special projects, targeted reviews, assignments, and other duties as assigned.

The expected salary range for this position will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. Who you are:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Property Claims in the insurance industry. 
  • Additional experience in Auto PD, Accident Benefits, Bodily Injury and Vendor management would be an asset.
  • Prior experience with file review and call quality audits with knowledge of Claims Monitor.
  • Experienced in creation and management of workflow processes with strong data analytics skills.
  • Strong understanding of the regulatory compliance and claims workflows and procedures. 
  • Post-secondary education in Insurance Management, Business Administration, related field, or industry experience is preferred.
  • CIP / FCIP designation or working towards completion is preferred.
