Position Details
What You Will Do
• Lead transformative business initiatives involving system and process changes.
• Develop and present business cases to support strategic decision-making.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses to evaluate and optimize solutions.
• Identify innovative solutions to enhance business processes and drive efficiency.
• Act as a lead technical resource, responsible for ensuring alignment of technical solutions with business objectives.
• Regularly make informed decisions in complex situations from end-to-end, with limited direction from Business Solutions Group Leadership.
• Provide education, counsel, and advice on both internal and external projects/opportunities as appropriate.
• Identify, develop, document, and execute testing strategies with acceptance criteria to validate business requirements.
• Produce quality documents, including business processes and controls, requirements and specifications, test plans, and user guides.
• Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources to understand business needs.
• Apply expert elicitation techniques to probe, challenge, and understand business problems.
• Assess risk by identifying potential exposures and the volatility, likelihood, consequences, time horizon, and correlation associated with the risk.
• Develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships.
• Support Project Managers and leadership throughout all phases of the project management lifecycle.
• Stay up to date on industry and business trends through participation in professional associations, practice communities, and individual learning.
• Support leadership in the development and roll-out of strategic initiatives
Who You Are
• An experienced business analyst with 3+ years in the P&C or Commercial Insurance industries, skilled in eliciting and documenting business requirements.
• A leader of transformative initiatives, guiding system and process changes that align with business objectives and comply with industry regulations.
• A strategic thinker who provides high-level oversight to technical teams, ensuring effective solution implementation without needing deep technical expertise.
• A collaborative problem solver, experienced in working closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and Subject Matter Experts to resolve issues and deliver outcomes that meet business needs.
• A results-oriented professional who leads user acceptance testing (UAT), developing and overseeing testing strategies in an agile environment to ensure business requirements are fully validated.
• A business strategist who leverages detailed cost-benefit analysis to make informed recommendations and secure stakeholder buy-in for key insurance projects.
• A trusted advisor who provides strategic guidance on Auto, Property, and Travel Insurance projects, ensuring compliance with business and regulatory standards.
