Position Details
The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing support processes in line with company guidelines and ensuring the team meets operational and service standards.
- Oversee team performance, objectives, deadlines, and professional standards.
- Manage annual performance reviews, recruitment, attendance, coaching, mentoring, and training of underwriting support staff.
- Lead by example and promote clear, open communication.
- Foster a high‑performance team culture and ensure key underwriting service indicators are met.
- Hold regular team meetings to review goals and establish action plans.
- Achieve operational objectives while maintaining customer service standards and adhering to company and industry guidelines.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to support underwriting workload.
- Manage daily workflow distribution and produce status reports.
- Build strong relationships with brokers.
- Ensure compliance with underwriting rules, company policies, and operational guidelines.
- Implement new policies and procedures and ensure regular audits are completed.
- Act as a technical resource for issues related to new business, endorsements, renewals, and systems.
- Participate in industry events and associations as needed.

Your Profile
- University degree or equivalent experience.
- CIP or FCIP designation is an asset.
- 5+ years of experience in Commercial Auto.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to lead change and work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Solid judgment in commercial underwriting supported by analytical skills.
