Position Details
Reporting to the Manager, Property Niche, the Unit Manager will oversee a team of adjusters on commercial policies.
What You Will Do
- Lead, manage and develop claim associates to maximize full performance potential
- Provide coaching on claims technical skills and strategic direction on claims handling
- Conducts regular feedback discussions with associates regarding training needs, development plans, execution of plans, and performance results
- Encourages continuous learning within the team
- Creates and delivers performance reviews along with action plans to manage performance
- Delivers exceptional customer service, internally and externally
Please note, salary range is not inclusive of total compensation. The expected salary range for this position will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level.

Who You Are
- Post-secondary education, or equivalent industry experience
- Certified Insurance Professional designation, or equivalent experience is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience
- A minimum of 7+ years of claims handling duties, experience or equivalent
