Position Details

What You Will Do

The Actuarial Analyst is a key contributor in evaluating the rates and profitability across all lines of business, helping in establishing the pricing and support the team.

  • Create, build, maintain profitability, growth and segmentation models to predict customer cost and behavior
  • Data modeling of inforce, premium, quotes and modeling claims
  • Model price based on competitively, insurance loss cost and customer elasticity
  • Update, improve, maintain data by developing  tools, intelligent reports, incorporating statistical models, new data and validate statistical accuracy
  • Fix and improve any material problems with the data working with IT to implement fixes, ensuring data integrity
  • Support the team with financial projection and budgeting data
  • Update of data with Qlikview and Power BI


Who You Are

  • Completed University Degree in Actuarial Science and completion of one Personal and Casualty internship
  • Completed all preliminary examinations of the CAS preferred
  • Self-motivated, autonomous, proactive and a team player
  • Good working knowledge of Excel, Python, VBA, SQL
