Position Details
What You Will Do
The Actuarial Analyst is a key contributor in evaluating the rates and profitability across all lines of business, helping in establishing the pricing and support the team.
- Provide business analytics and insights to product leader and other leaders to help improve business decisions and processes
- Data modeling of inforce, premium, quotes and modeling claims
- Create and maintain a suite of reports that provides critical information to stakeholders
- Develop Business Intelligence applications (Power BI, etc.)) to be used for accessing reports and data
- Fix and improve any material problems with the data working with IT to implement fixes, ensuring data integrity
- Review reports for accuracy and data quality
- Work collaboratively with the other teams in the actuarial function in facilitating access to the data required in completing their projects
Who You Are
- University Degree in Actuarial Science, and completion of one Property and Casualty (P&C) internship
- Completed all preliminary examinations of the CAS (preferred)
- Self-motivated and autonomous, proactive and a team player
- Good working knowledge of Excel ,Python, VBA, SQL
- Good communication skills, bilingual written and spoken
